How about pricing...does JetCoder campare to others on the market?

A good friend of mine once ran a lucrative auto dealership, and his claim to success was this: No screaming ads about his cars being better than anyone else's... he simply kept one of their cars on the lot for comparison. We don't do that, of course, but we do encourage you to check out their systems, features, and pricing, then give JetCoder the same opportunity.

Remote control operations...

Not a problem... the Galaxy and TEK-10 Series accommodate a wide variety of configurations, and even the Unijet line can be customized to work in hostile or other uninhabitable environments.

Is JetCoder new to the inkjet industry?

Not at all. Although we recently decided to begin offering our own systems and other products, we've been around a lot longer than some of the names you probably recognize. We've been designing and developing inkjet systems for nearly 30 years for a wide range of commercial and industrial applications.

Does JetCoder offer a range of products?

Indeed we do. Starting with our most impressive Galaxy line of printers, to the very economical Unijet series; A wide selection of inks and solutions; Filters, regulators, pumps, and other hardware components; Maintenance and technical support; Installation and training services.

Does JetCoder offer parts & service for other manufacturers' systems?

Other than generic inks and solutions, we do not. Too much diversity means that nothing gets 100% of your attention... and we see that as a sure-fire recipe for failure. We're the best at what we do because it's all that we do.

What about inks, solutions, and other supplies?

We offer a complete line of inks and solutions for your systems. Our inks were designed specifically for JetCoder and you'll discover that our own inks are less costly than most third-party solutions! Why? Because our goal is not to make money on inks; our goal is to make sure you have the right ink... good inks means good performance, and good performance means future business (we hope).

Tell me about multi-color...

A fairly straightforward answer is that multi-color gives you the power to be unique above and beyond your competition; the ability to offer features and options to your customers that your competitors cannot offer. The multi-color processes are no more complex than printing single-color, and no more difficult to learn, to operate, or to maintain.

Operating a JetCoder...is it hard to learn?

You be the judge. It took my 16-year old daughter 7 minutes to get from power-off to an "I Love You Dad!" message on a blank piece of paper. Keep in mind that teenage girls focus mainly on teenage boys and basketball, not on printing systems. Also, she was not part of the design processes, and in fact she hadn't the slightest clue what "this thing" was supposed to do... just something Dad works with, but we feel reasonably certain that if Ms. TeenGirl can run it from scratch, so can you. All things considered, I'd have to say that JetCoder systems are not difficult to operate.

Can JetCoder systems be customized for special applications?

You bet! Every JetCoder system was designed to accommodate custom applications and unique situations. If there's a printing situation JetCoder can't handle, we haven't found it.

How about micro-character printing?

The Legend Aries was designed specifically for micro printing. An extremely hi-speed system, ideal for drug and food-packaging applications; When optical-scanning and/or vision systems are implemented, costly production losses become almost non-existent.

Will JetCoder save me money on the use of inks and solutions?

Most assuredly! In fact; we guarantee it. With System Optimizer and Auto Viscosity running, the computer looks at all process-functions 14,000 times every single second, and adjusts as needed! Without operator input, you'll get the best possible print-quality at the highest speeds, with the least amount of solutions used.

How about LARGE characters?

Check out the Legend Maxijet. This system was designed for applications where very large characters are required... Box labeling, pallet coding, drum labeling, lumber applications, and so on.

How about performance... are JetCoder systems comparable to others on the market?

We truly don't know and it isn't much of a concern. That probably wasn't the answer you were looking for, but here's why we give such a response to this question: We chose to dedicate our efforts to designing and building the best and offering the most for the least cost, not watching the competition. We already know that a well-tuned JetCoder will print messages FAR faster than your (or any) production-line could ever possibly handle a product; I also know what you need in a system and what's not available to you... and our focus is on just that, not on who's-doing-what. There are lots of good people and quality products in this industry, and if someone else can make the same claims as us then they, too, have a great product and they certainly our respect, but minimal research will show you the performance-claims of other systems... we encourage you to take a look at some others, then take a look at our own features and performance-data, and compare.

Are JetCoder systems difficult to maintain?

Not at all, and in fact, just the opposite is true: The modularized integration concepts inherent in every JetCoder system make isolating (and resolving) a suspected condition easier than you'd ever imagine. For example: Let's say you suspect a bad valve in a TEK-10 system. First of all, the computer would have warned you way-back-when that the valve was becoming questionable, but let's say you ignored the computer warning. You can replace the entire hydraulics panel in less than a minute... from down-time to run-time! Fix or replace the valve when time allows and you have a new spare panel ready to go. Always remember that the computer checks every function 14,000 times a second, and in most cases you'll be warned far in advance of an actual failure.

How about technical support?

We offer a variety of options, from short or long-term maintenance agreements, telephone support, manuals, and of course most JetCoder printers come with real-time diagnostics. And don't forget about the optional Dial-Up Diagnostics feature... a very powerful feature that can be activated as often as you like.

We need custom-matrix capabilities, such as logos, etc...

No problem. The JetCoder family of printers offer this capability as a standard feature. Logos, text, barcodes, UPC Codes, Data Matrix codes...it's all the same to any JetCoder printer.

Operating a JetCoder...is it difficult?

learning to operate a JetCoder system is extremely easy.

What's the delivery-time for new JetCoder systems?

Delivery time is subject to several variables: Which system, which features and/or options, how much customizing is to be done, and a few other variables. Basically, we can have a new, moderately-equipped JetCoder printer on your floor and operational within 60-days from date-of-order.

Can we get consolidated production data from our plants worldwide?

The Management Reporting System fills that need easily, and is available on most JetCoder systems. Lots of standard reports, or reports may be customized for each facility, and output data may be trafficked via a number of methods (modem, dedicated lines, Internet, to name a few).
